Group (SIG) pages. This site is meant to be a resource
site for the members of the DigiCam SIG, as we call it, but anyone is welcome to browse and take
advantage of information posted on these pages.
Here
you'll find lessons we've learned and assignments we've carried out to
implement those lessons. Feel free to drop us a line if you have any

Whiskers come in
all shapes, sizes, and on many different surfaces besides your stately
professor's chops! Drew Jacobs is challenging us to find the most
interesting and creative whiskers we can find. I think we're up to it!
So that's the challenge for the May 2008 assignment to be shown at the
June meeting.
Bring your ten best images to the meeting, and let us know what you did
to get those shots by including EXIF information with each photo.
Also next meeting,
come find out what a work flow is, and
watch one in action. Judy Henderson's
presentation has been rescheduled for the June 2008 meeting. She'll
walk us through one of her typical work flow sessions, from camera to
post-production. Thanks, Judy!!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Summer
Photography Workshops at the Art Museum of South Texas
Instructor Judith Curiel, a 2007 MFA graduate in digital photography for
Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, will present two workshops
entitled "The Digital Restoration of Photographs". The two-part
workshops will be in the Digital Studio at the Art Museum and will be
using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Space is limited to 10. Registration for each
of the sessions is $30 for members and $40 for non members.

June 21 & June 28: 2 – 5
July 12 & July 19: 2 - 5

We meet from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on the third Tuesday of
every month at the City of Corpus Christi's Central Library in the Retama
